So, I have decided to start a blog about Finn. I think it is a good way for my husband's family, who don't live close to us and don't get to see Finn very often, to be involved in his life when they are away. Also, my family is huge and spread out all over the country. This way, for those of you who are curious, you can peek in on him from time to time.
Finn will be 16 weeks old tomorrow. So I am going to give you a quick re-cap to get you up to date.
This was me: pregnant. I know, I know, my belly was huge!
I went into labor Monday, June 7th around 8pm. My intention was to deliver naturally, so I stayed home until labor became active. By the next morning it was time to go! We arrived at the hospital's natural birthing wing at about 11:30am. Things did not go quite as I had planned... After 22 hours, he wasn't budging; so we transferred to the regular labor and delivery wing. 10 hours later, with the help of an epidural and a vacuum, he was finally born!

These last 16 weeks have been pretty exciting. I can't believe that much time has already gone by! He has started to develop a fun little personality. So this is what he has been up to since birth.
Yes, that is a nasty blow out - all over Grandma.
He has actually only done that a handful of times. She has gotten it twice.
As you can see, he's got some spunk! And for the record, I have never spiked his hair. It just stands up like that on its own. I brush it down after every bath, but as it dries, it pops up like a peacock. But look at this picture...

Same hair as daddy.
